Integral Waste Valorization

Every year we dump a massive 2.12 billion tons of waste. If all this waste was put on trucks they would go around the world 24 times. 95% of our solid waste is disposed of in almost-filled landfills and one out of every two of those landfills desperately needs repair so it wont leak.

It is possible to convert plastics into fuel or energy. Conversion of waste to energy directly or with a pre-conversion to fuel is in reality a waste of energy. The energy needed to reproduce the raw material (and the need of fossil fuel) make the process completely unsustainable.

Waste has a value varying in function of the content between 44.25 USD/t up to 69.80 USD/t. Recycling will provide cheaper raw material tot he local economy, creating the opportunity for hundreds of SME companies to product locally goods that are currently imported.

Waste management will provide local job opportunities for thousands low and medium qualified workers (improving the situation of the waste pickers by providing them with contractual positions within the recycling company and second level transformation companies).
